Exhibition “President Souphanouvong – a close friend of Vietnamese people”

The exhibition is being held by Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh Museum and Laos’ Kaysone Phomvihane Museum as part of activities marking the 110th anniversary of Lao late President Souphanouvong’s birth (July 13th, 1909-2019).

Exhibits highlight the deep sentiments of the late President Souphanouvong with Vietnamese people, showing the long-term friendship between the two neigbouring countries. They are divided into three main parts, including the important milestones in the life of Prince Souphanouvong when he studied and worked in Vietnam; the diplomatic ties, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries that were built up and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh and Lao Presidents Kaysone Phomvihane and Souphanouvong; the efforts made by the leaders and people from the two nations to enhance the bilateral cooperation in all fields, for the development and prosperity of the two sides.
