A delegation of people with meritorious services to the revolution in Soc Trang province recently laid wreaths and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum.

The delegation includes 58 delegates, who are people with meritorious services, led by Ms. Tran Thi Hoang My, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Soc Trang province.
With more than 50,000 people with meritorious services, Soc Trang is one of the provinces with many ethnic minorities, people with low incomes, especially people with meritorious services to the revolution who are mostly elderly and living alone.
Over the years, the work of caring for and showing gratitude to people with revolutionary contributions in the province has always been carried out well. Many meaningful activities and movements have created a widespread effect throughout society, bringing practical results.
Receiving the delegation at the Hung Vuong Government Guest House, Colonel Do Tat Thanh, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board, introduced to the delegation the unit’s mission of preserving and protecting President Ho Chi Minh's body in the long term and promoting the political and cultural significance of the Mausoleum in the new period.
On this occasion, he also presented the Uncle Ho Badge to the delegates./.
