Dak Lak Public Security plants tree in gratitude of Uncle Ho

The activity aims to mark the 132nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19, 1890), towards the the 60th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Police Force (July 20, 1962).

At the launch ceremony, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chairman of the Central Public Security Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, emphasized that in response President Ho Chi Minh’s call and the program to plant one billion trees for a green Vietnam in  2021 - 2025, over the past time, the police forces nationwide have planted millions of trees every year, contributing to creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape public places.

He requested Party committees and commanders of units to further popularize, educate and raise awareness for officers and soldiers about the role, great significance and human values of the implementation of Uncle Ho's teachings on tree planting, afforestation, forest protection, and ecological environment protection.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited and donated laptops to Ea Tul Secondary School and gave 20 gifts to 20 students of ethnic minorities who overcame difficulties at Nguyen Cong Tru Primary School, Phan Chu Trinh Primary School and Ea Tul Secondary School in Cu M'gar District, Dak Lak province, with a total value of more than 30 million VND.

The gifts contribute to easing difficulties for teachers and students, promoting the movement to overcome difficulties in life./.
