The contest attracted the participation of 10 teams with more than 150 members who are officers and soldiers from agencies and units under the Provincial Military Headquarters and its twinning units.

The teams went through three parts: introduction; knowledge competition and competition to communicate typical groups and individuals in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; good models, creative way; results and experiences in implementing Resolution No. 847-NQ/QUTW.

Through the competition parts, the teams expressed the purpose, significance and role of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

According to Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ngan, Political Commissar of the Lao Cai Provincial Military Headquarters, the contest is an extensive political activity, a basis to help the Party Committees and leaders of agencies and units properly perceive the communications of promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", resolutely opposing individualism in the new situation.

Through the contest, officers and soldiers in the units exchange, learn, and accumulate experience and communication skills, build a sense of practice, and strive to be worthy of the title of "Uncle Ho’s soldiers" in the new situation.

At the end of the contest, the organizing committee awarded the First prize to the Military Headquarters of Lao Cai city, the Second prizes to the Military Headquarters of Bat Xat District, the Military Headquarters of the Muong Khuong district and the Third prizes to the Regiment 254, the Military Headquarters of Bao Thang district and the Military Headquarters of Bao Yen district./.
