In the evening of May 19th, some 1,000 people went to Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street to enjoy the art performance, in combination with the ao dai show and lotus offering to Uncle Ho statue.

The warm and open art space of Nguyen Hue street drew special attention from many people. This was the first time the full length of the street was turned into a catwalk stage. 126 models wearing ao dai carried 126 lotus bouquets to offer to President Ho Chi Minh’s statue to commemorate his great merits.
Ten ao dai collections by designers such as Si Hoang, Quynh Paris, Thuy Nguyen, Hoai Sang, Tuan Tran and Pham Dang Anh Thu were introduced and well received by the public with the warmest applause.
The ao dai performance was divided into three sections, with ao dai models representing the past, the present and the future, with the message “The city loves ao dai – The city loves peace.”
Models performed according to songs praising Uncle Ho and Ho Chi Minh city. The event drew the participation of singers Thu Minh, Ho Trung Dung, Xuan Phu, Trang Nhung, Dong Nhi and Mai Van Huong./.
