Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thanh Tuan, Political Commissar, the Can Giuoc District Military Headquarters, said that the contest aims to raise awareness and responsibility of leaders and commanders of units in the district armed forces for popularization of the Politburo’s Conclusion 01-KL/TW continuing to implement Directive 05-CT/TW on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ideology and style and the campaign on promoting traditions and contributing talents to deserve the title of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”.

At the same time, the contest also creates conditions for officers and soldiers to exchange and learn experiences, meeting the increasing requirements of information and popularization work.

The contest was attended by 15 teams from military headquarters of communes and towns. The theme focused on studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style, good practice and typical example of the district armed forces in studying and following Uncle Ho’s example.

After two-day competition, the first prize went to the My Loc communal Military Headquarters; second prize went to the Phuoc Hau communal Military Headquarters; and third prize went to the Long Hau communal Military Headquarters.

In addition, the organizers also presented outstanding awards to contestants Do Minh Nghia (Phuoc Hau commune), Le Thi Be Tho (Long Hau commune) and rewarded groups that won consolation prizes and completed the festival./.
