36 years of UNESCO honoring President Ho Chi Minh celebrated in Kuwait

The event aims to implement the project "Honoring President Ho Chi Minh, Vietnamese national liberation hero, outstanding cultural celebrity in foreign countries."

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Ngo Toan Thang affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh has always been respected and loved by the Vietnamese people thanks to his contributions to the national revolutionary cause, with the greatest goal of independence and freedom.

UNESCO's Resolution honoring President Ho Chi Minh as "National liberation hero and outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam" shows the international community's recognition of his influence not only on Vietnamese people but also on national liberation movements around the world. Celebrating this special event, Ambassador Thang shared that the life of President Ho Chi Minh is worthy of being a model for future generations to study and learn from many aspects, from ideology and outstanding art of foreign affairs to morality and revolutionary courage.

After watching the film about Uncle Ho, Ambassadors of the invited countries expressed their admiration for President Ho Chi Minh and his contributions to the Vietnamese people. The Ambassadors shared the same opinion that Vietnam's ability to maintain economic development and stability while facing many fluctuations in the world, and implement a balanced and wise foreign policy, is thanks to the lessons that President Ho Chi Minh left for the Party, Government and people of Vietnam today.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy in Kuwait also introduced and presented an English - Vietnamese bilingual publication titled "The world people's affection for President Ho Chi Minh" to guests. The book includes photos recording President Ho Chi Minh’s activities in many countries around the world through vivid and profound perspectives, thereby affirming the deep affection, faith, love, respect and honor of the Party, State, people and international friends towards him./.
