At the press conference 

This is among the activities to mark the great President’s 130^th birthday (May 19^th), and welcome the 17^th provincial Party Congress and the 13^th National Party Congress, the organizing committee said during a press conference held on June 10^th. 

According to the organizing committee, diverse activities will be held during the ceremony, including speeches, the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the President Ho Chi Minh Statue, and an art performance. 

Delegates at the ceremony will also burn incense to commemorate Uncle Ho and fallen soldiers, and plant trees at the President Ho Chi Minh Statue campus.

Addressing the press conference, Cao Van Dinh, Head of the provincial Party Committee Commission on Popularization and Education, stressed that the inauguration of the President Ho Chi Minh Statue is an important political event as it marks a special cultural work memorializing Uncle Ho’s visit to the province in 1957./.
