The Vietnam Women’s Union in collaboration with the General Department of Politics under the Ministry of National Defense has launched the tree planting festival at Hai Ba Trung Temple in Me Linh district, Hanoi to express eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho.

On this occasion, officials, members and women throughout the country planted 130,000 trees, contributing to greening many rural areas across the country.
The move is among activities to celebrate the success of the 13th National Women's Congress and continue to realize the Government’s project of growing 1 billion trees in the 2021-2025 period.
The Vietnam Women’s Union also called on officials, members, women and people nationwide to actively plant, care for and protect trees, contributing to protecting the living environment./.
