The launch ceremony of all people exercising their body following Uncle Ho’s example in association with the Olympic Running Day for People’s Health in Thanh Hoa and the 15th Thanh Hoa cross-country and collective run will take place on March 12.

This is the province’s first sports event to be held on a large scale in 2023, with the intention of encouraging a large number of people to participate in physical training and sports.
It is part of activities to celebrate the 77th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946-2023.
As scheduled, the launch ceremony will take place on March 12 at Lam Son Square, Thanh Hoa City, with the participation of about 3,000 people.
The collective running competition will be attended by athletes from wards and communes in Thanh Hoa city. This event has become a tradition held annually with the enthusiastic participation and unique contests of the units.
The organizers will award first, second, third and consolation prizes to 4 groups of teammates.
Aiming to realize the plan to organize the cross-country tournaments at all levels, towards the Thanh Hoa Newspaper cross-country tournament in 2023, on this occasion, Thanh Hoa City will organize the 15th Thanh Hoa Cross-Country Tournament with the participation of local athletes from wards and communes; high schools, sports clubs; professional secondary schools, colleges, universities, armed forces units; agencies and businesses.
Athletes will compete in 2 traditional events including 5km for men and 3km for women, individual prizes, men's and women's teams and the whole team.
Through the tournament, Thanh Hoa City will select excellent athletes to participate in the 2023 Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cross Country Tournament./.
