Diverse cultural activities will be held at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism under the theme "Uncle Ho and the Vietnamese Ethnic Community" to mark the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and the 68th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2022).

The program aims to introduce the traditional culture, customs and habits of the people, along with experience activities in May at the "Common House" of the community of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, contributing to enhancing exchanges between ethnic groups in different regions and the village; and promoting studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example and style in each job, specific practical activities of ethnic minorities, and spreading to tourists at the "Common House".
The activities will draw the participation of people from 13 ethnic groups, including Nung, Tay, Dao, Mong, Muong, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Xo Dang, Co Tu, Ede and Khmer, in the provinces and cities of Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Ha Giang, Son La, Hoa Binh, Nghe An, Thua Thien - Hue, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak and Soc Trang.
The highlight will be talks about Uncle Ho's simple example. Ethnic people will tell each other stories about Uncle Ho and lessons from his life in the closest way so that their compatriots can better understand and love Uncle Ho. This will help spread the affection and deep respect and gratitude of people of all ethnic groups for the Father of the Vietnamese nation.
Art performances of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups will include songs about Uncle Ho with the tune of Then singing and other Vietnamese musical instruments.
In addition, a photo exhibition on Uncle Ho and ethnic community will be held on this occasion.
The series of activities takes place until the end of May 31./.
