In the first year of implementing the resolution, many localities and units in Ho Chi Minh City have gradually formed the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space and made notable marks.
District 10 is one of the first localities to set up the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space, highlighting Uncle Ho’s life, career and revolutionary activities. In addition, photos of Uncle Ho in countries and stories about Uncle Ho have been collected and exhibited, making it a place for training cadres, Party members and laborers.
The President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area at the headquarters of District 10 Party Committee; and the exhibition space of President Ho Chi Minh's life and revolutionary activities at Hoa Binh Cultural Center have also become a highlight on Uncle Ho, attracting many people to study.
Thu Duc City has also been studying and building a Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space suitable for each agency, unit and residential area.
Meanwhile, District 6 organized a 3D online exhibition "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" at the fanpage of the youth. Launched in early November 2021, the exhibition "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" has attracted nearly 1,500 visits.
According to Secretary of District 6 Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Tran Hai Doan, the exhibition was born with the desire to convey official information, images, poetry, music, literary works, documentaries and revolutionary activities of Uncle Ho attached to the country, while educating the youth and children to promote patriotic tradition and national pride, creating a spirit of exciting emulation in all fields, to contribute to District 6 and Ho Chi Minh City carrying out the tasks of socio-economic development and social security.
Secretary Doan said that the union has carried out diverse activities, including disseminating information about the development of a Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space on the Internet, building the fanpage “Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space” on the social network to highlight Uncle Ho’s revolutionary life, attracting over 30,000 access hits and nearly 2,000 members.
Currently, District 10 has focused on reviewing and re-evaluating a number of historic buildings in the district for maintenance; supplementing content, images and introductory materials about President Ho Chi Minh at tourist destinations; building an area for displaying and exhibiting images and documents about President Ho Chi Minh at each agency and unit. In particular, it promotes the function of cultural institutions to build areas and places to display images and documents about President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary career to all classes of people.
Along with building the space "Uncle Ho with children" at the Children's House of the district and schools, District 10 also established the "Ho Chi Minh Bookcase" at agencies, units, schools and hospitals.
“In the near future, the Youth Union will aim to build a smart interactive museum, followed by an online Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in English-Vietnamese bilingual form, so that overseas Vietnamese and foreigners can also access valuable information and documents about Uncle Ho,” said Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City City’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Phan Thi Thanh Phuong./.
