With the spirit to serve patients in the best way, the health care staff of the Trieu An Hospital in Binh Tan district, Ho Chi Minh city has renewed its medical check-up and treatment processes to shorten patients’ waiting time.
Following Uncle Ho’s teachings, every day, cadres and officers of the hospital practice thrift and medical ethics in treating patients.
Over the past 3 years, patients have been satisfied with medical service renewal at the hospital. By using advanced technology, the hospital helps patients reduce time in paying medical check-up and test fees, thus being able to serve over 1,000 patients each day.
The health staff at the hospital always raises their awareness in increasing the quality of medical check-ups and treatment with their whole-hearted spirit, together with studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ethical example, which has become daily work.
“When I started my nursing work, I did not fully understand the significance of my work. However, during my caring for patients to help them survive, I have come to love my work more,” said Luu Thi Xuan Huong, Head of the Nursing Department and President of the hospital Trade Union, adding that once a person understands the significance of his work, he will devote himself to the work. Therefore, she often instructs new-comers and passes good ways of doing to the next generations.
According to Ms Huong, in her hospital, practising thrift is considered important work. Reusable papers are reused, while the staff always reminds each other on saving materials, power and water.
These practical activities have helped the Trieu An Hospital and Ms Luu Thi Xuan Huong be honoured by the Ho Chi Minh city Confederation of Labour during a meeting to praise outstanding followers of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style./.
