Singing loudly songs praising Party, Uncle Ho, country and homeland

 

The event, themed “Vietnamese youth proud of moving forward under the Party’s flag”, was part of the program celebrating the Party Congresses at all levels and towards the 12th National Party Congress.

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and President of the Vietnamese Student Association Le Quoc Phong said the festival aimed to strengthen and deploy the activities of the groups of revolutionary propaganda songs from youth union organizations nationwide. The songs praise the Party and Uncle Ho, the homeland and the tradition of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnamese youth.

The festival drew the participation of 11 groups of outstanding revolutionary propaganda songs representing 10 emulation groups which were chosen from contests at all levels, from the grassroots to district and province levels.

At the closing ceremony, the organizing board presented first prize to the Ho Chi Minh city Youth Union; two second prizes to Hanoi city Youth Union and Dak Lak provincial Youth Union; three third prizes to Hai Phong and Lao Cai provincial Youth Unions and the Youth Union of the Central Enterprises Bloc and five consolation prizes to Da Nang city Youth Union, the provincial Youth Unions of Vinh Phuc, An Giang, Nghe An and Tuyen Quang.

The National Revolutionary Propaganda Song Groups Festival 2015 was held from December 26th - 27th at the Vietnam Youth Academy and the Hanoi-based National University of Civil Engineering./.
