Works on the developments on Dien Bien Phu battlefield during the period, the image of President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and soldiers who made Dien Bien Phu historical victory are on display at an exhibition in Hanoi.

The exhibition features 39 works by 27 artists on different materials on Dien Bien Phu campaign which lasted for 56 days under the command of General Vo Nguyen Giap. The campaign saw Vietnam defeat the French colonialists to put an end to their rule in Indochina the same year.
The exhibition opened at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum (No.66 Nguyen Thai Hoc street, Ba Dinh district) on May 3rd, as part of the activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the victory (May 7th). It will run until May 10th./.
