Diverse activities to mark the 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament will be held in Ho Chi Minh (HCM) city, said Than Thi Thu, a member of the city Party Standing Committee and Head of the city Party Committee Commission on Popularization and Education.

The information was released at a meeting in HCM city on April 11th to carry out political activities to the 50th anniversary of the President’s testament.
According to Mrs. Thu. three requirements and eight contents have been issued to be implemented in political activities across the whole Party Committee and the whole political system, continuing to confirm the great value of President Ho Chi Minh’s Thought, thus reinforcing people’s trust in the Party leadership and the State management, and successfully realizing the Party resolutions at all levels.
Ms Thu asked the city to carry out profoundly the activities’ contents in each Party organization and the city’s political system, honour outstanding collectives and individuals, organize workshops on the activities, upgrade galleries and organize trips in remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh.
Accordingly, she stressed that Party Executive Committees should focus on leading the implementation of political activities; make cadres, officers and labourers have clear awareness about the significance and importance of Uncle Ho’s testament; highlight the city’s achievements during 50 years of realization of the testament; and encourage each cadre to practice morality and lifestyle, making studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s example a regular and self-conscious deed./.
