He also stressed that the 60 ^th anniversary of Uncle Ho visiting Ha Tinh province (June 15 ^th , 1957 – June 15 ^th , 2017) and 10 years since the establishment of Ha Tinh city (May 28 ^th , 2007 – May 28 ^th , 2017) are significant events for Ha Tinh province, as the province is making efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges.

The activities to mark the events must be practical, thrifty, significant, and not only serve the anniversary but also implement the plan in 2017 and incoming years, thereby affirming the position of Ha Tinh.

The Secretary asked to strengthen communication regularly across the province, especially in coastal localities, and focus on communicating good people, good deed, social-economic development, activities relating to fishery, studying and following Uncle Ho’s example.

The ceremony is expected to include: meeting to mark the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho visiting Ha Tinh province and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Ha Tinh city; offering incense, flowers and reporting achievements at Uncle Ho Memorial Site visiting Ha Tinh province and in Uncle Ho’s hometown in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province; making documentary film; organizing to give prize of Tran Phu Press Prize Competition and writing contest "Good people, good deeds"; and photo exhibition on Uncle Ho and Ha Tinh province.

Ha Tinh city has planned to re-publish the book "Ha Tinh city on the stream of history"; hold a photo exhibition on socio-economic development achievements of the city, and reportage about the past 10 years of Ha Tinh city; people's art festival association with Nghe Tinh folk-song festival, and organize cultural -sports activities./.
