The Army Cheo Theatre on March 28 th marked the 50 th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings about “Soldiers’ Cheo mat” and praised advanced models in implementing the campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talents, worthy to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers".
On March 28th, 1967, the cultural and artistic troupe of the General Department of Logistics (now Army Cheo Theatre) was honoured to perform “Cheo” (traditional operetta) at the Presidential Palace. President Ho Chi Minh praised the troupe and advised: "You are soldiers and artists, you have to train to perform better and better for soldiers and people".
Implementing his teachings, over the past 50 years, the Army Cheo Theatre has been actively performing Cheo for people and soldiers across the country, steadily promoting the traditional art to succeeding generations./.
