Outstanding Youth Union members pay visit to Uncle Ho’s homeland

The program is part of a series of activities celebrating the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and awarding the Ly Tu Trong Award 2024 taking place in Ha Tinh province on March 21 - 22.

During the trip, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to Uncle Ho's altar at Kim Lien Special National Relic Area to express their respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh’s great merit.

Visiting Sen Village, Uncle Ho's hometown, the delegates also expressed their emotion when seeing artifacts associated with the simple life and activities of Uncle Ho.

Next to the simple, rustic thatched roof, the delegates heard about Uncle Ho's childhood and his family members.

Then, the delegation visited and offered incense and flowers at Truong Bon National Historical Relic Area in My Son commune, Do Luong district, delegates commemorated and expressed their respect, admiration and deep gratitude to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The lives and careers of heroic martyrs are a shining example for young generations today and tomorrow to study and follow./.
