Communist Party of Argentina honours President Ho Chi Minh

A reporter from the Vietnam News Agency reported that the reading room put on show a wide range of newspapers, magazines and pictures published in the 1960s and 1970s in Argentina which presented the Argentinians’ support for the Vietnamese nation’s struggle against invaders. Many articles at the  time denounced the American imperialist’s crimes against the Vietnamese people.

In addition, a range of  documents relating to the relationship between the Communist Party of Argentina and the Communist Party of Vietnam were on display.

The Communist Party of Argentina’s General Secretary Patricio Echegaray showed his admiration for President Ho Chi Minh while appreciating the solidarity, friendship and cooperation with the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On this occasion, Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina, Nguyen Dinh Thao had a meeting to talk with Communist Party of Argentina members on Vietnam’s current socio-economic development as well as its achievements during the renewal process.

Many members of the Communist Party of Argentina  said they wanted to study Vietnam’s policies on attracting foreign investment, the role of the State in regulating the economy as well as the country’s challenges in joining free trade agreements, including the Trans-Pacific Partnership./.
