The President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command has awarded prizes for the writing contest on promoting the political and cultural significance of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum project.

The event is among activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army, and the 34th anniversary of the All-people National Defense Festival (December 22, 2023).
Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Group 969, and Political Commissar of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, said: After more than 2 months, the Organizing Committee received 59 articles and 5 video clips.
The entries have rich and diverse content, many are written about the process and origin of the establishment of the Mausoleum Project; traditions, tasks, and characteristics of agencies and units associated with the process of formation, development and promotion of the political and cultural significance of the Mausoleum Project; and the background, personality and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh.
The video clip genre with moderate length, tight and appropriate layout, creativity, sharp images, vivid sound, elaborately illustrated technical effects, created appeal to the viewers.
According to Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, the contest has created a vibrant and widespread emulation movement, thereby encouraging the spirit of studying and working according to Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
For the article category, the organizers awarded a special prize to the work “Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - A noble symbol of the Vietnamese people” by Lieutenant Le Huong Giang of the Politics Department under the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, with two first prizes, three second prizes, four 3rd prizes and six consolation prizes.
For the video clip category, the organizers awarded the first prize to the work “Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - A place of convergence, emotions, faith and aspirations” by Major Nguyen Ngoc Ha of the Politics Department, along with two second prizes and two third prizes./.
