Venezuelan people’s sentiment for President Ho Chi Minh through painting exhibition

Famous Venezuelan artists have displayed dozens of art paintings in honor of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, and the culture, landscape, country and people of Vietnam.

Speaking at the event, President of the Venezuelan Artist Association Susej Vera said that she was honored to organize the art exhibition about Vietnam, a heroic country with a tradition of patriotism and struggle for independence, freedom of the nation, as well as the extraordinary energy in the development of the country.

Through the exhibition, Venezuelan people have shown their love for the country and people of Vietnam, especially for great President Ho Chi Minh. This is also an activity to help Venezuelan people better understand the culture and country of Vietnam.

On behalf of the Embassy, First Secretary Ngo Van Chi expressed his appreciation and thanks to the leaders of the Venezuelan Artist Association for coordinating to organize the meaningful exhibition, helping the Venezuelan people express their love for the country and people of Vietnam.

The above activity helps to further cement the friendship between the Venezuelan people and the Vietnamese people, contributing to promoting friendship and traditional cooperation between the two countries, towards the 33rd anniversary of diplomatic relations and 15 years of comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Venezuela.

For her part, President of the Venezuela - Vietnam Friendship Association Carolus Wimmer said that famous Venezuelan artists have painted about a country, with heroic Vietnamese people, rich natural beauty, and especially great President Ho Chi Minh of the Vietnamese nation in particular and of humanity in general.

The art paintings displayed at the exhibition clearly showed the deep affection that the Venezuelan people have for Vietnam and the admiration for President Ho Chi Minh - which is the inspiration to create art paintings about President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic people of Vietnam.

At the event, the guests also enjoyed traditional Vietnamese dances, such as hat dance, flag dance performed by the dance groups from the Venezuela – Vietnam Friendship Association, mixed with traditional Venezuelan dances, contributing to helping Venezuelan people understand more about the Vietnamese culture, country and people./.
