Various activities to mark Uncle Ho's 131st birthday in Russia

The ceremony was solemnly held at the monument of President Ho Chi Minh in Moscow. This is one of the traditional activities held annually by Vietnamese students at RUDN University.

The contest award is to timely encourage overseas Vietnamese students, who participated in the contest enthusiastically and had many creative works, which showed their love and respect to Uncle Ho.

Nguyen Bang An Quang, Head of the Overseas Vietnamese Student Unit at RUDN University, said that through the ceremony, they wanted to show their gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of Vietnam. He went to find a way to save the country, to many countries, including the Soviet Union, now the Russian Federation. They are overseas Vietnamese students in Moscow, and they would love to learn more about his life and revolutionary career while they are in the Russian Federation.

The contest was launched on April 24 and stopped receiving entries on May 10. The entries focus on highlighting the great life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and our people; his contributions to the international communist and workers' movements. The application and development of Ho Chi Minh's thought by the Communist Party of Vietnam in the renovation, construction and defense of the Fatherland; and studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style.

In a short time of launching, the Organizing Committee received 11 entries, including 5 collective entries and 6 entries from individuals and groups. After evaluating the works, the Organizing Committee decided to award one first prize, one second prize, two third prizes, one most popular prize and one creative prize./.
