Thanh Hoa Border Guard plants over 1,000 trees in gratitude to Uncle Ho

Officers and soldiers of the provincial Border Guard and officials and people of Ngoc Lac district participated in planting trees.

The launch ceremony was attended by Colonel Hoang Van Hung, Political Commissar of the provincial Border Guard, representatives of Ngoc Lac districts, authorities, departments, branches and mass organizations of Thuy Son commune; and staff, teachers and students of Thuy Son Secondary School.

At the event, Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Political Commissar of the provincial Border Guard, called on all officers and soldiers to actively participate in the tree planting festival, considering this as a regular task.

At the same time, he asked the Party committees and commanders of units to help all officers and soldiers thoroughly understand the necessity and great significance of planting trees and afforestation.

After the launch ceremony, participants planted more than 1,000 trees, including more than 400 fruit trees of all kinds and more than 600 trees for timber and shade in the campus of Mobile Company, Training - Mobilization Battalion under the provincial Border Guard./.
