On May 9, the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace held the opening of the exhibition on relics and monuments of President Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam and in the world.

This event was held on the occasion of the 132th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19), and the 35th anniversary of UNESCO's honoring him as Vietnamese hero of national liberation and great man of culture.
The exhibition displayed 200 precious documentary photos about President Ho Chi Minh with events and locations associated with the path of national salvation and national liberation, making an important contribution to the struggle of the nations in the world for peace, democracy and social progress.
Vietnam has developed some 700 relics, 30 statutes and squares, and over 100 works on President Ho Chi Minh. Every year, hundreds of thousands of visitors come to these commemorative locations. In President Ho Chi Minh's relic at the Presidential Palace alone, since 1969, it has welcomed 73 million domestic and 12 million international visitors.
In the world, there are 35 works and monuments commemorating President Ho Chi Minh which have become places to organize cultural events of the overseas Vietnamese community. Many countries have named parks, schools, streets and squares after the Vietnamese great leader.
The exhibition will be open until October 30./.
