The project is being implemented in five phases, starting from October 2023. After the end of the testing phase (August 2024), the project is expected to be inaugurated and awarded in September 2024.
In the era of strong technological development, digital transformation and digitisation are not only a trend but also a need for museums, to increase accessibility, promote documents and artefacts and attract the public.
The project is a proof for the combination of traditional culture and new technology.
According to Assoc.Prof. Dr. Vo Dinh Bay, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, this will be a breakthrough development related to information promotion so that visitors can visit without having to go directly to the museum.
The virtual museum allows visitors to experience it through mobile devices, computers or specialised virtual reality glasses. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with artefacts in three-dimensional space, easily accessing detailed information in a vivid audio and visual space./.
