President Ho Chi Minh’s 132nd birthday marked in Tuyen Quang

Addressing the performance, Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial People’s Committee, said that during the years of resistance war, Tuyen Quang was chosen by Uncle Ho as the center to lead the Vietnamese revolution. The loyal and steadfast heart of the people of Tuyen Quang, combined with the strategic terrain of the mountains and forests of Viet Bac, was a solid wall absolutely protecting safety for the Party, Uncle Ho and the revolutionary headquarters of Vietnam.

A special art program showed the deep gratitude of officers, soldiers and people in Tuyen Quang Province for the merits of and the special love of Uncle Ho for the revolutionary war zone. This was also an opportunity to arouse pride and create a strong motivation for cadres, Party members and people in the province to continue studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, striving to build Tuyen Quang to soon become a fairly, comprehensively and sustainably developed province in the northern mountainous region, so that the people can have an increasingly prosperous and happy life as Uncle Ho always wished.

Accordingly, 100 artists performed works depicting the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh with the long history of the country since Uncle left the country to find a way to save the nation, then coming to Tan Trao to lead the August Revolution in 1945 and returning to Tan Trao in 1947. The performance also highlighted the innovation and development of Tuyen Quang./.
