President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to be closed for regular maintenance from June 10

Since its inauguration in 1975, the resting place of the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, has been a magnet to both Vietnamese and foreigners.

This year, more than 61,000 people, including 3,919 foreigners, paid tribute to the late President at his mausoleum during the five-day National Reunification (April 30) and May Day (May 1) holidays, starting from April 27.

It is expected that the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh will reopen on August 13./.
