A scientific seminar to review 55 years of implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament (1969-2024) has been held by the Phu Yen provincial Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education and the provincial Political School.

Cadres, party members and scientists submitted many articles and papers to the seminar with rich content, focusing on analyzing and researching President Ho Chi Minh's Testament from diverse and multi-dimensional perspectives and aspects. They also proposed many valuable solutions to continue effectively implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament in conjunction with the reality in Phu Yen.
Mr. Huynh Lu Tan, Secretary of the Tuy Hoa City Party Committee said that the locality has made efforts to build and develop the socio-economy according to President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament. Over the past 55 years, the Party Committee and People of Tuy Hoa constantly strived to develop the economy and improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
Tuy Hoa’s average annual economic growth rate is about 10%; the city’s budget revenue in 2022 exceeded 1 trillion VND (from 28.4 billion VND in 2000 to 1,120 billion VND in 2022); the city’s average real income per capita in 2023 was 85 million VND a year (1.56 times higher than the national average); and the poverty rate decreased to 0.82% in 2023. Tuy Hoa City is striving to become a First-class urban area under the province by 2025.
Speaking at the workshop, Comrade Bui Thanh Toan, Head of the Propaganda Department of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that the research and implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s instructions in his Testament have profound practical value and significance.
The Phu Yen provincial Party Committee continues to effectively implement the Politburo’s Directive and Conclusion on promoting studying and following of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle; promoting the responsibility of setting an example, practicing revolutionary ethical standards in the new period; promoting the will of self-reliance, the spirit of innovation and creativity, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, and striving to excellently complete assigned tasks.
