Phu Tho celebrates 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to province

The event aims to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Phu Tho province (August 19, 1962 - August 19, 2022) and 77 years of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

The mobile festival has the participation of 13 units from 13 localities in the province. The units participate in the contest of cultural promotion programs; display and explain the photo exhibition; decorate and parade mobile communications vehicles on the streets of Phu Tho town; and put on performing arts shows to serve the people.

Also on this occasion, various practical activities took place in Phu Tho town such as displaying and exhibiting 60 works from the contest of composing posters to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Phu Tho province, which was launched by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2022, and more than 30 posters winning prizes in the poster composing contest to mark the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

These are practical activities to communicate the significance of Uncle Ho's visit to Phu Tho province. At the same time, it also evaluates the results that Phu Tho province has achieved in implementing Uncle Ho’s teachings over the past 60 years. Thereby, it aims to remind and encourage cadres, party members and people to remember and well implement Uncle Ho's teachings, and strive to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style, contributing to the victory implementation of the Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress and the 19th Provincial Party Congress./.
