On August 19, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union led by Comrade Vo Khac Thai, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and President of Ho Chi Minh City Labor Confederation, offered incense and flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang.

This meaningful activity aims to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the 136th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang's birthday (August 20, 1888 - 2024).
At the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch in District 4, delegates respectfully offered flowers and incense to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh. The delegates also observed a moment of silence to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero, outstanding cultural activist of Vietnam, and exemplary international communist soldier who devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
In front of the soul of President Ho Chi Minh, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union officials expressed their boundless gratitude, vowed to forever remember Uncle Ho's teachings, and study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style. At the same time, they promised to make efforts to contribute to the cause of building Vietnam to become more and more prosperous, civilized and modern.

At the Ton Duc Thang Museum, the members of the delegation offered flowers and incense to respectfully commemorate President Ton Duc Thang. The members of the delegation took a minute to commemorate President Ton Duc Thang, the leader of the working class, a shining example of diligence, thrift, integrity and uprightness, wholeheartedly serving the revolution and the people. Before the spirit of President Ton Duc Thang, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union officials offered incense and promised to strive to follow the example of President Ton Duc Thang to build Ho Chi Minh City with a good quality of life, modern civilization and humanity.
