In his opening speech, journalist Nguyen Thanh Loi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Standing Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper, emphasized that the development of the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space aims to foster comprehensive cultural and human development. This initiative is intended to motivate economic development and improve the quality of life for the people, aligning with the objectives of the 11th Party Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

To concretize the resolution of the 11th Party Congress of Ho Chi Minh City, the newspaper’s Party Committee and Editorial Board have directed relevant departments to establish the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space. This space is dedicated to showcasing valuable books, images and materials about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, a national hero, cultural celebrity, and the founder of revolutionary journalism in Vietnam. It also serves as a venue for the newspaper staff, including journalists and editors, to explore, learn and apply Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morality and style creatively in their work.

Journalist Nguyen Thanh Loi highlighted the importance of aligning the cultural space with the newspaper's unique operations and characteristics. Incorporating multimedia products in a fitting manner is crucial. Therefore, the Party Committee, Editorial Board, and the entire newspaper staff will invest more in video documentaries and stories about President Ho Chi Minh. This will include creating multimedia products to meet diverse research and learning needs through smart devices, according to Mr. Loi

The Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at the newspaper is divided into three thematic sections, including following in Uncle Ho’s footsteps, President Ho Chi Minh with journalism and popularization and education work of the Party, and Sai Gon Giai Phong journalists studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

The space is designed to be solemn and elegant, integrating modern decor to cater to reading, visiting, interacting and networking needs./.
