So far, the city has established and inaugurated 398 Ho Chi Minh Cultural Spaces in various organizations, associations, agencies, units, Party committees, grassroots units, companies, businesses, residential areas, religious and folk belief establishments, cultural lodgings, schools and charity classes. Among these, 19 units have implemented projects featuring Ho Chi Minh Cultural Spaces on artistic stone blocks, with 77 stone blocks inscribed with quotes, teachings and poems of President Ho Chi Minh placed in parks, neighborhood office premises, public activity points, agencies, units, religious establishments and martyrs' memorials in wards.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Hiep, Secretary of the Party Committee of Thu Duc City, stated that the City Standing Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the construction of "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Spaces" in the city. This project has initially spread and diversified across various sectors and social classes, contributing to raising awareness of the values of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, and promoting the learning and following of Uncle Ho’s example across the entire City Party Committee.
"To enhance effectiveness, the construction of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Spaces must be synchronized in both tangible and intangible culture in everyday life and in cyberspace," Mr. Hiep emphasized.
In the near future, Thu Duc City will focus on building intangible cultural spaces, promoting the traditional values of ethics, lifestyle and customs of the city's people, linked to the core values of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The city will also strengthen the construction of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Spaces in cyberspace and use vivid visual forms to enrich the dissemination of the space./.
