At the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang and the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense, expressing their boundless gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh. Although President Ho Chi Minh passed away, his image remains eternal in the heart of the Vietnamese nation and the People's Public Security Forces. His thoughts continue to guide the Vietnamese revolution from one victory to another.
In the sacred moment, the delegation vowed to forever study and follow the noble ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.
After that, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang offered flowers and incense at Chung Son Temple, the ancestral temple of President Ho Chi Minh.
On the same morning, the working delegation of the Minister of Public Security visited the Truong Bon National Historic Site in My Son Commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An) to offer flowers and incense, paying their heartfelt respects and infinite gratitude to the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives on the "fiery coordinates" of Truong Bon.
The section of National Highway 15A passing through Truong Bon, My Son Commune, Do Luon district is only about 5 kilometers long. However, from 1964 to 1968, the enemy dropped nearly 19,000 bombs of various types and tens of thousands of missiles on this heroic land, destroying 211 villages along the route and killing many residents. Hundreds of vehicles and artillery pieces of the Vietnamese army were destroyed. Thousands of officers, soldiers, youth volunteers, transportation workers and militia were injured; 1,240 officers and soldiers bravely fought and heroically sacrificed their lives.
In the sacred and emotional atmosphere, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An province respectfully bowed their heads to light incense, expressing their profound respect and boundless gratitude to the heroes and martyrs./.
