On March 2, after the incense offering ceremony in memory of President Ho Chi Minh, mass organizations of 5 units of the Guard Command of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Military Medical Academy, Military Technical Academy, 108 Military Central Hospital and Vietnam Maritime Corporation launched the tree planting festival to show eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho at the K9 historical site in Ba Vi district, Hanoi.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, Political Commissar of the Guard Command of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, affirmed that this move is very meaningful to each cadre and union member in joining hands and contributing efforts for a green Vietnam.
The event is expected to create pervasiveness, positive effects to raise awareness about the meaning and benefits of tree planting, protect the environment and effectively and economically use natural resources.
After the launch ceremony, mass organizations of 5 units planted 100 trees at the K9 site.
As part of the program, mass organizations of the 5 units organized sports exchanges and gave gifts to new soldiers.
In 2023, the Guard Command of the Ho Chi Minh Museum selected 220 outstanding youths from 13 provinces: Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, and Thai Binh, for enlistment in the military service unit and they are now being trained at Division 285./.
