The event was held by Nghe An provincial Department of Culture and Sports to praise the merits of President Ho Chi Minh, and the renovation achievements of the homeland.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of Nghe An provincial Department of Culture and Sports Tran Thi My Hanh emphasized that the Sen Village Singing Festival in Nghe An province 2023 has been a cultural activity and a traditional mass art competition for more than 40 years. The festival has become a major event, a unique cultural activity, showing the artistic, spiritual nuances of respect in the spiritual and cultural life of the people of Nghe An.

According to the Director of the Nghe An provincial Department of Culture and Sports, from the end of March to the beginning of May 2023, the local cultural sector across the province organized the Lotus Singing Festival at the grassroots level.

Through the Sen Village Singing Festival, functional branches continue to foster and strongly develop cultural and artistic movements. This contributes to preserving and promoting tangible and intangible cultural values, improving the people's spiritual life, continuing for the goal of building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

The festival consists of 21 special programs with the participation of 600 most outstanding artists and actors in the mass art movement of Nghe An province. /.
