After graduating from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2019, Dinh Thi Ly, a young doctor from the Hre ethnic group, started her work at the Minh Long District Health Center. Just graduating from the university, with no professional experience, Dr. Ly was worried because the knowledge she had studied at school was much different from the actual work. Therefore, in order to complete the assigned work, especially in professional work, Dr. Ly spent a lot of time researching documents, cultivating knowledge, and learning from the experiences of colleagues. Since then, during her work, Dr. Ly and her colleagues have helped many women to go through labour and welcome safe and healthy "little angels".

In medical examination and treatment, Dr. Ly always takes initiative in giving advice to the head of the department and the Board of Directors of Minh Long District Health Center in applying new techniques to diagnosis and treatment of diseases, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, bringing benefits to patients.

In addition, Dr. Ly has actively participated in many volunteer activities for the community. Every year, Dr. Ly provides free medical examination and medicine to poor people in the district; During the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, Dr. Ly directly participated in communication and distributing leaflets to guide people to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, she was also a member of a team serving pandemic prevention and control in the district's concentrated isolation area.

Dr. Tran Dang Giao, Deputy Director of the Minh Long District Health Center, said that the young doctor is an active person, dedicated to her work; always maintaining solidarity with colleagues in the center and acting wholeheartedly for patients.

For her dedication to patients and the community, Dr. Ly was awarded a certificate of merit by the Department of Health for her many achievements in taking care of people's health; She is also honored by the Minh Long District People's Committee as a youth union member with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style for the 2016 – 2021 period./.
