According to the plan, departments, agencies, units, districts and towns will plant about 320,000 shade trees, timber trees and 350,000 fruit trees on urban traffic routes, headquarters of agencies, departments, branches, parks, hospitals, schools and households.

In localities where have forests and forestry land, 20 to 30 hectares of new production forests will be planted there. The city also assigned commune-level People's Committees to communicate and mobilize each household to plant at least one to two trees of various types to achieve the goal of planting 700,000 new trees in 2025, contributing to the goal of planting 1 billion trees in the 2021-2025 period./.
