Mr. Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Popularization and Education hailed speeches at the seminar that mentioned many issues of the city during 50 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament.

He stressed the Party Committee, army and people of Hai Phong made glorious achievement with historical significance. Hai Phong today is being developed in accordance with the advice given by the President in the Testament.

At the seminar, delegates highlighted the theoretical and practical values of the Testament and the advice of Uncle Ho through his nine visits to Hai Phong; assessed results, outstanding achievements and learned lessons; and analyzed limitations and shortcomings which need to be corrected over the 50-year road of implementing teachings of the beloved President.

Many opinions continue to deepen the historical stature and values of the era, the strategic directions in the Testament, and the teachings of the President in the northern port city.

Aiming to study and follow the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh, the city Party Committee, the army and people are striving to make Hai Phong a pioneer in industrialization and modernization with strong development among the leading cities in Asia.

The target was set in Resolution 45 of the Politburo on building and developing Hai Phong by 2030, with a vision to 2045./.
