The request was made at localities in accordance with the instruction of the Party Central Committee Commission on Popularization and Education in marking the 130th birthday (May 19th) of President Ho Chi Minh, the talented leader of the Vietnamese Party and revolution, the hero of national liberation and a great man of culture, contributing to realizing the 12th National Party Congress resolution and successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels and the 13th National Party Congress.
The celebration was also asked to be in close connection with the COVID-19 fight.
In Hanoi, to mark the great President’s birthday, agencies have accelerated emulation movements, mobilized all resources to defeat COVID-19, ensuring economic development, keeping stable political security and social order as well as people’s daily life, and successfully organizing the city’s 17th Party Congress and looking forward to the 13th National Party Congress.
In Hai Duong province, the provincial Party Committee urged authorities and the mass media to increase dissemination of Uncle Ho’s life and career, confirming the everlasting vitality of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.
The Thai Binh provincial Party Committee directed celebration with cultural, artistic and sports activities that praise the Party, Uncle Ho and the nation.
Accordingly, it plans to organize an exhibition which displays images and documents on President Ho Chi Minh's life and revolutionary career; the images and remembrance of the 5 times Uncle Ho visited Thai Binh province; and those about local socio-economic development achievements.
Kien Giang province will also organize exhibitions on President Ho Chi Minh and the national and provincial achievements while localities can launch emulation movements; organizing cultural and sports activities; and screening films about Uncle Ho.
Nam Dinh province plans to disseminate good models, creative and effective actions in all aspects of social life; and praise outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style. Together with it, the province has increased emulation campaigns for successfully fulfilling socio-economic development targets.
In Tuyen Quang province, celebration of Uncle's birthday aims to encourage patriotic emulation movements, determining to successfully implement the resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels term 2015-2020, welcoming the Party Congress at all levels term 2020-2025 and the 13th National Party Congress.
It has also focused dissemination on President Ho Chi Minh’s activities in Tuyen Quang province during his preparations for the 1945 August Uprising and the resistance war against the French colonialist; and local residents’ affection for Uncle Ho./.
