An exhibition of 38 paintings on Uncle Ho and lotus opened at Hoan Kiem lake pedestrian zone to celebrate the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19).

The works of arts were created by famous artists To Ngoc Van, Mai Van Hien, Pham Van Don, Tran Chat, Dinh Quan, Ngo Hai Yen and Le Duc Tung.

The exhibition was held by Vietnam Art I&D.,JSC at the Space for Vietnamese Culture at No.16 Le Thai To street, Hoan Kiem district.
It aims to give the public more opportunity to access valuable paintings, and to better understand the life and great personality of President Ho Chi Minh.
Chairman of Vietnam Art I&D.,JSC Ha Huy Thanh said there are particularly precious paintings of Uncle Ho, considered "treasures" of Vietnamese painting, such as the painting by artist Mai Van Hien in 1990 and 1991.
