On June 5, in Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City-based Ho Chi Minh Museum coordinate Thua Thien-Hue based Ho Chi Minh Museum to organize an exhibition to mark the 111th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s departure to seek ways to liberate the nation (June 5, 1911-2022).

Accordingly, 150 coloured and black-and-white photos and documents of places in Hue and Ho Chi Minh City where President Ho Chi Minh once lived and worked before he boarded the ship Admiral Latouche Treville on June 5, 1911, from Nha Rong Wharf of Saigon, beginning his journey to seek ways for national salvation are on display.
Works on display also include images of outcomes in the national Doi Moi (Renewal) process as well as the country’s socio-economic and cultural achievements.
The exhibition contributes to help visitors understand more about monuments and sites where Uncle Ho set his footprints./.
