A plan for practical and meaningful activities to celebrate the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19th) has been released by the Standing Committee of the central Quang Nam provincial Youth Union.
Accordingly, a seminar on Uncle Ho and the youth and workshops on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics and lifestyle among young people, will be held.
The provincial Youth Union will promote dissemination on President Ho Chi Minh's life, career and merits, his great contributions to the Communist Party of Vietnam and the nation; and praise outstanding people in studying and following Uncle Ho's examples, creative and effective ways of the youth in the cause of building and defending the fatherland in the current period.
It will organize activities to follow Uncle Ho's sayings, physical training and sports activities; and reading books about Uncle Ho.
These activities will help local youth be deeply aware of the President's life and revolutionary career; continue improving the effectiveness of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle among Union officials, Youth Union members and children; and commend and reward the typical collectives and advanced individuals who do well in studying and following Uncle Ho./.
