On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of International Volunteer Day (December 5, 1985 - December 5, 2017), on the morning of December 5, 2017, the Delegation of the Vietnamese Volunteer Community held a ceremony to pay tribute to Uncle Ho, reported to Uncle Ho the outstanding achievements that the Community has made in recent years.

The delegation includes 120 outstanding leaders and volunteers representing tens of thousands of volunteers across all regions of the country, led by comrade Do Van De, Director of the Vietnam Youth Development Center, President of the Communist Party of Vietnamese volunteer community. Attending the Merit Announcement Ceremony was comrade Vu Minh Thao, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Party Central Youth Union.
The Vietnam Volunteer Community is a volunteer organization established with the purpose of linking clubs, associations, teams and groups nationwide for the purpose of social security and spreading good deeds and bringing better things to the community.
Remembering and promoting Uncle Ho's teachings, volunteers with a spirit of enthusiasm and responsibility towards the community and society always try to learn, cultivate and develop themselves with extremely meaningful volunteer activities. The Vietnamese volunteer community currently has a strong volunteer system, with tens of thousands of volunteers always ready to contribute.
In recent years, clubs, associations, teams and groups of the Vietnamese Volunteer Community have also organized thousands of meaningful programs with a total value of tens of billions of VND, bringing joy and hope for those who still face many difficulties and misfortunes in society, typically the programs towards the floodplains of Muong La and Son La; Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai; Tram Tau, Yen Bai; programs to help people in central Vietnam overcome the consequences of floods and rescuing agricultural products when people encounter difficulties .

On behalf of the Youth Union, before the heroic spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, comrade Do Van De promises to try his best to bring the enthusiastic hearts of the youth ready to contribute to the community, bringing thousands of things for society, helping to spread kind deeds more widely, creating a Vietnamese volunteer community with noble humanitarian meaning./.
