On August 14, a delegation of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) respectfully offered flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi.

The delegation was led by Colonel San Sopheak, Head of the Department of Psychological Education, National Defense Academy, the Ministry of Defense of the Royal Cambodian Army.
Before the heroic spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation respectfully commemorated and expressed gratitude for the great sacrifice of President Ho Chi Minh for the cause of national liberation and unification, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the People, especially his important contributions in building the traditional friendship, solidarity and close relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
Previously, at Guest House No. 8 Hung Vuong, Colonel Pham Van Hieu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Delegation 969 Party Committee, Deputy Commissar of the Mausoleum Protection Command, and representatives of the Office Command and the Military Science Department respectfully welcomed the delegation. At the reception, the Deputy Commissar shared about the special political significance of the Mausoleum, the task of preserving and protecting the absolute safety of President Ho Chi Minh's body; at the same time, expressed the wish that the two units would increase exchange activities and learn from each other's experiences to improve the quality of completing their tasks; thereby contributing to building and developing the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries.
Sincerely thanking the Mausoleum Guard Command for their warm and thoughtful welcome, on behalf of the delegation, Colonel San Sopheak said that this is an opportunity to better understand and bring to the Cambodian people President Ho Chi Minh's spirit of loving peace, loving freedom, and not succumbing to the enemy. He also expressed his hope that the solidarity between the two armies as well as the friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia will become increasingly better and develop sustainably./.
