The contest introducing books about President Ho Chi Minh in 2022 has received more than 2,000 entries from youth union members and young people across the country after more than 4 months of launching.

The contest is organized by the Truth National Political Publishing House and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s Central Committee.
This is a practical activity to respond to the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21, 2022); celebrating the 132nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2022); marking the 77th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2022) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2022).
Launched on May 19, 2022, the contest contributes to promoting and spreading to youth union members, young people and all walks of life good publications about President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh. Thereby, it also helps raise the awareness of a large number of youth union cadres, members and young people in learning Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
The contest includes two 2 rounds, the preliminary round, taking place from May 19 to August 9, 2022, and the final round, taking place from August 9 to August 23, 2022.
The organizing board will award one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, five consolation prizes and five sub prizes to candidates. The awarded works will be selected by the Truth National Political Publishing House for editing and publishing as a book.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Hanoi on August 30./.
