The decision states that the organization of activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation aims to thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation, Directive 34-CT/TU dated April 7, 2014 of the Politburo tenure XI on continuing to renew the work of emulation and commendation, strengthening the leadership role and responsibilities of the heads of the Party committees and authority, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, cadres, Party members and the whole society on the position, role and great effects of the emulation movement on emulation work.

Commemorative activities include organizing a conference to honor national advanced examples on June 11 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi); and national writing, reportage or video clip competitions on advanced examples, new models, and examples of “Good people, good deeds”.

The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Home Affairs to be the standing agency, to coordinate with relevant ministries, branches and localities to advise and organize commemorative activities; preside over the development of the overall program and detailed script of the national conference on honouring advanced examples nationwide.

The Prime Minister requested the Party Central Committee Commission on Popularization and Education to develop a dissemination outline on the 75th anniversary of the day President Ho Chi Minh issued the call for patriotic emulation; and coordinate with the Ministry of Information and Communications in directing news agencies and newspapers to open specialized pages and columns, and spend a lot of time to disseminate Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation./.
