A total of 55 paintings on President Ho Chi Minh by 73-year-old Dao Trong Ly, an Overseas Vietnamese patriot in Thailand, are on display at an exhibition which opened in Hanoi on May 17.

The event is jointly held by the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum and the Thailand – Vietnam Association in Thailand’s Nakhon Phanom Province, to commemorate the 134th birth anniversary of President Ho (May 19, 1890-2024).
Painter Dao Trong Ly is currently working as Head of the advisory board of the Association of Vietnamese People in Thailand.
Through his paintings, he hoped to help visitors understand more about the life and career of the great Vietnamese leader, and encourage younger generations to follow President Ho’s example.
The exhibition will run at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi until May 22 at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
Ly will then present all of the paintings to the collection of the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum./.
