On September 8, the Vinh Long provincial Party Committee organized a meeting to summarize 4 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, and praise teams and typical individuals in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

In his speech at the event, Secretary of the Vinh Long provincial Party Committee emphasized that studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh are both needed for self-improving the character and morality of each individual, and the requirement of the whole society.
In the near future, Party Committees and authorities of all levels should continue to effectively carry out the contents of Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, in association with realizing Resolution of the 4th PCC meeting (term XI, XII) and regulations of setting an example.
He noted that Party Committees, authorities, localities, cadres and party members, especially key officials and leaders of all levels should specify construction and serious implementation of regulations and responsibility of leaders; renew leadership methods, style and working style; and improve the quality and efficiency of work.
According to the Vinh Long provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, localities, agencies, units of the province built action programs and specific plans to help studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh come into practice.
Many localities and units defined breakthrough contents associated with socio-economic development tasks; taking care of people’s lives; and focusing on solving urgent problems.
So far, Vinh Long has had more than 31,700 excellent teams and individuals awarded and commended in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.
On this occasion, 1 team and 2 individuals received Certificates of Merit of the Government leader for typical achievements in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh in the 2016-2019 period.
The Vinh Long Party Committee presented Certificates of Merit to 19 teams and 30 individuals with outstanding performance in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh./.
