The event was attended by the Party Central Committee (PCC) member and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi municipal Party Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang; Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation Nguyen Phi Long and over 400 outstanding youth union members of the capital in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example from 117 youth union and non-productive units directly under the Hanoi Youth Union.

The program was a part of activities to mark the 41st anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Re-unification (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2016); the 126th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (19/5/1890 – 19/5/2016); and towards to election of deputies to the 14th NA and People’s Council at all levels for the 2016-2021 tenure.

Addressing the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Tran Anh Tuan stressed that the revolutionary life, career, thought and morality of President Ho Chi Minh are a bright example and torch lighting the way for our country’s revolutionary career.

“Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” has become the guideline for activities of the capital youth.

Over the past five years, the Hanoi Youth Union has implemented the Politburo’s Directive 03-CT/TW on “Continued acceleration of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” and gained achievements.

On this occasion, the Standing board of Hanoi Youth Union praised 27 outstanding individuals and 17 youth models in the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive 03-CT/TW and 10 outstanding in following the President’s advice./.
